BIO OIL Group
The BIO OIL Group is a leading producer and trader of sustainable biodiesel and biomethane in Europe. Since 2007, we have been transforming waste, such as used cooking oil, into valuable, eco-friendly energy resources. With state-of-the-art facilities and an extensive network, we leverage innovative technology and a commitment to responsibility—driving cleaner energy solutions and a more sustainable future.
At the BIO OIL Group, we are pioneers in the biofuel industry, committed to creating sustainable energy solutions for a greener future. Founded in 2007, our innovative approach leverages the principles of the circular economy, transforming waste into valuable resources.
With a strategic presence across Europe, including key locations in the Netherlands, Austria, and Germany, our operations encompass the collection, processing and production of high-quality biodiesel, biogas, and various by-products.
Our facilities in Eemshaven, Krems, Sohland, and Bleiburg are at the forefront of environmental innovation ensuring that waste materials such as used cooking oil and food scraps are repurposed efficiently.
Our mission is to drive sustainability and reduce environmental impact through advanced biofuel technology and responsible resource management.
In addition to our cutting-edge facilities and strategic locations, we focus on four core areas: biodiesel production, biomethane generation, waste-feedstock collection, and trading of renewable raw materials. These interconnected processes allow us to efficiently convert waste into valuable energy sources, driving both environmental innovation and sustainability. Our comprehensive approach ensures that we not only produce green fuels but also create a closed-loop system that maximizes resource use and reduces waste.

We are one of the largest producer of waste-based biodiesel (from UCO and advanced feedstock) in the EU. Our UCOME comes with up to 90.1 % GHG emission savings.

We are investing in scaling up our biomethane production to meet growing demand and drive sustainable energy solutions.

We have a strong UCO and waste-feedstock sourcing network worldwide and have therefore access to western and eastern European markets as well as overseas supply chains.

We do trading with our high quality biodiesel, biomethane, valuable side products, and sustainable waste feedstocks to promote eco-friendly energy solutions.
